Hey everyone, what you're looking at here is a fine piece of American-Made craftsmanship history in a 6 and a half pound package. From the played-in feel you get the second you grab the neck, to the crisp and clear tone that comes pouring out when you start to play, this Reverend is everything you could imagine and more! This is just about as early as you can find nowadays, with the serial number #00044 -with Joe Naylor's initials - dating it around spring 1997, you don't want to pass on this baby! The guitar has been meticulously gone over, and shows VERY little sign of being and the brink of it's 21st birthday. Minor yellowing on the edges, and the top and bottom of the body are ultra clean. Includes original Reverend teardrop case!Just as they say with Real Estate "they can't make anymore" nor can they make any more of these cherished original USA Reverends. There were only about 4,000 total number of total USA Reverends built. This is a truly minuscule amount by modern guitar building standards. This one - from the first month or so that Joe began building guitars - will be IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of shortly. This brand has become a global phenomenon.
