The G6118T-LTV 125th Anniversary model features the ultra-rare Jaguar Tan top and Metallic Gold back and sides. The G6118T-LTV is the first model to include the new "ML" bracing, which synchronizes the vibration of the top and back for increased acoustical openness in tone. Nicknamed "Annie," the guitar has TV Jones Power'Tron pickups, a pinned rosewood-based Adjusto-Matic bridge and a Bigsby B6C vibrato tailpiece.This guitar has not yet found a home in consumer hands! It is lightly stamped "used" on the back of the headstock. I picked up about 10 Japanese Gretsch guitars a year or two ago. This is the last Japanese Gretsch I have left from a purchase of about 10 a year or two ago. Gretsch was holding onto a number of them, all with minor factory cosmetic blemishes. This particular one has a small scratch on the pickguard bracket and has some checking in the nitro finish on the back of the neck and headstock. I have included close-up photos. The finish checks are not perceptible while playing. If you run your fingernail over them intentionally you can get a slight “click” if you try hard enough. Aside from what I have described, the guitar is in flawless condition. No playwear whatsoever!This is an exquisite guitar, and the playability is just as good as the looks. It has received a thorough professional setup and is 100% ready to play! The action is nice and low across the whole neck without buzz. The guitar features a true nitrocellulose gloss lacquer finish that allows the overtones and reverberation of the hollow body to sing absolutely unhindered.Just as in all of my listings, all photos are of the actual guitar for sale. She's a beauty!The Gretsch hardshell case is new and included. It has a couple of tiny scuffs from storage, which I have included close-up photos of.
