This is a 1973 Gibson L6-S. I am the original owner. It is solid maple with a maple neck and fingerboard This guitar is almost factory condition except for a few expected scratches on the pickupsI sent this guitar to Gibson about 15 years ago to be completely reconditioned. They stripped it to bare woodSweated out any dents and dingsCompletely refretted itRepainted the headstockInstalled a new nutRefinished the entire guitar They also repaired three latches on the original case which is includedThe pickups and all electronics are original and in perfect working order
The 6 position switch, along with the midrange and treble tone controls, creates a wide variety of sounds.This is an extremely versatile guitarThe neck is slim and fastThere are 24 frets that are easily accessibleI replaced the original Grover tuners with newer ones when one of the originals broke. I still have the other 5 original Grover tuners which I will include.This is a magnificent specimen of this very underrated guitar. It will provide years of good music.
