Up for auction is this vintage King double (F/Bb) French Horn made by the H. N. White Co., of Cleveland, Ohio in the sixties. It has been well cared for and in fact, I had the whole horn refurbished with a new finish and new valves about ten years ago. As you can see from the photos, the horn still looks fabulous. Keep it well oiled and the slides greased and it should be good for years to come. There are no major dents, only a few minor dings here and there and some scratches on the hand grip area. The case does show its age but it is sturdy. The inside plastic belt to hold the horn in place did tear so I just added some string to it and it works just fine. A mouthpiece is also included so you should be ready to play as soon as you get it!
