Clean vintage mandolin. Original finish and hardware. Adirondack spruce top with F holes, dark stained nicely figured maple back and sides. White script silkscreened "Gibson" peghead logo. Clamshell tailpiece cover, amber tuning buttons, original ebony nut, fretboard and bridge. Nice playing and sounding instrument with no issues. Frets are fine, neck is straight. No breaks or cracks or refinish. Good strong bluegrass sound with a woody chop. Very loud mandolin. Comes with period case. Evaluated by Music Folk in St.Louis, Missouri
