Vintage Demeter VTMP-2b, all tube mic/ instrument preamp.
This is an original unit, not a reproduction. All original transformers and components.These are my favorite preamps.
I am only selling this because I have 3 of them. I once used them to record my band, but that's defunct now, so I never need to use all 3 at once.
This thing is superb on vocals, kick, bass, snare, acoustic guitar.
Layer multiple sounds through it to get a very spacial, "3D" quality unlike solid state preamps (reminds me of Pink Floyd.)Don't get the 2a model- it doesn't have the low cut switch, which is mandatory on this unit for anything except kick/bass.The unit is in excellent condition and works perfectly. No issues.Features:

Set the tube gain and output level independently, to get a range of sounds from crystal clear to tube saturation.
(A red light lets you know when you are reaching heavy tube saturation. )
Switches: Low cut, phantom, polarity reverse, pad.
Each channel has both a mic input and instrument DI.
Each channel has both XLR and 1/4" outputs. (Very useful if you want to monitor the recorded signal separately in a headphone mixer.)Used by Sting, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Neil Young, Alanis Morissette, Suzanne Vega, Seal, Dolly Parton, The Bee Gees, The Oak Ridge Boys, John Fogerty, Herbie Hancock, Micheal Jackson, Willie Nelson, etc.
