1925 J.H. Rockwell & sons, Providence, RI Family Quality Violin Makers. This Family is well known with uncle, D.B. Rockwell in Boston violin maker, do some research... The Luthier I had repairs done to violin looked up Rockwell family in his Makers book, quite the history, these violins sold for $425.00 in 1925, the information says that J.H. Rockwell Made High end student violins, while his brother high end concert, that would be valued around $35,000.00 today. I do not have a written appraisal, but Luthier is a friend and very strait forward and honest.F hole crack repaired luthier. New sound post. Not sure about Bow, cannot make out letters under frog, JA(F)? Will Be shipped insured I am starting bid low. Thank you and Happy Bidding
