Part of Charvel's Production-Mod Series, the Wild Card Electric Guitar is jam-packed with high-performance specs and mods. The 25-1/2"-scale alder body is crafted into the ultra-comfortable San Dimas shape and is mated to a one-piece quartersawn maple neck. The compound radius (12"-16") fretboard is fleet and sweet for chording on the low end and extreme bending in the upper range of its 22 jumbo frets.The Wild Card is powered by a Seymour Duncan JB TB4 bridge humbucker and Seymour Duncan STK4N Classic Stack single-coil pickups in the middle and neck. Just as Eddie established in the '80s, all you need is a volume knob to control this beast. Grover Mini Rotomatics tuners and Floyd Rose FRTO2000 double-locking tremolo maintain rock-solid tuning even after the most vigorous whammy-workout. The molded, rectangular SKB hardshell case with TSA-approved latches is ready to handle the rigors of the road (or the air).This guitar is waiting for a home in consumer hands! It is lightly stamped "used" on the back of the headstock and the serial number has been removed from the neck plate as required by the manufacturer. These designations mean the guitar has a minor cosmetic blemish. It is a completely playable instrument with no sacrifice of tone, structure, or playability. This particular guitar has had a professional repair to seal an 1/8” long finish crack on the side of the body at the bass-side edge of the neck pocket. This was a crack in the finish only, not in the wood. The repair was done very nicely by a Charvel-authorized refurbisher to ensure there is no problem in the future. It is nearly impossible to see but I have included a close-up photo anyway. Aside from this, the guitar is in flawless condition. No play wear whatsoever.This Charvel has a beautiful neck that has been professionally setup up for perfect playability up and down the fretboard. The Seymour Duncan pickups are capable of kicking the guitar into high gear but can also dish out sweet Strat-like tones at the flip of the selector switch. Made in Japan with top-notch appointments and a brilliant quilt maple top, this one is thoroughly-checked and ready to rock.The SKB Chavel-branded hardshell case is brand new and included. The case keys, Floyd Rose tremolo arm, guitar allen wrenches etc. are included.
