1939 Martin Committee II Lion and Crown Tenor Saxophone 1939 Martin Committee II Lion and Crown Tenor Saxophone This Martin Committee II Lion and Crown Tenor Saxophone has a serial number of 134xxx which puts it’s year of manufacture around 1939. Overall, this saxophone looks amazing! It has the original two tone finish, nickel keywork and lacquer with a nice dark patina. Overall, there are very few signs of wear on this saxophone. The engraving is crisp and features the Lion and Crown logo used on this series. This saxophone has the adjustable thumb-rest which works perfectly.
