If you would like to watch video of this guitar being played search Youtube for Prince Cloud Guitar made by Steve Stahl. When Prince was asked to put the score together for Batman, he had a black cloud made.In these photos, you'll see a picture of Jellybean Johnson holding his white cloud guitar that I made. Jellybean played with Prince, plays with Morris Day and The Time and was in the movie Purple Rain.  You'll also see a picture of myself with another cloud build that I had Dave Rusan check out. Dave is the luthier who built Prince's original cloud for Purple Rain.  If you are interested in owning a cloud built by Dave, check out rusanguitarworks.  He has recently been building them again and sells them for a little over 7,800.00  - It would be super cool to own one built by Dave, but if that's not in your range, I also build them.  I use the same solid maple construction of the original, the same electronics and hardware with a few slight changes.  Prince's black cloud had a gold schaller 457 bridge, I've used a chrome with gold bridge (the same bridge, but with chrome)...most cloud builds do not include this bridge because they are virtually impossible to find.  (Dave Rusan has some on hand for his builds)  I chose to go with Chrome and gold to keep the same physical hardware as opposed to using a different gold bridge.  Gotoh makes one similar, which I may use on future builds because this is the last bridge like this that I have.  This bridge is from the 1980's.  Schaller has not made them for years, so a forewarning that the bridge has some light (very light) scuffing due to the age.The Pickups are EMG SA in the Neck and EMG 85 in the bridge.  They are active and require a battery which is housed in the back cavity. The neck is the same 12" Radius Profile 24 3/4 neck.  This one I used a graph tech nut instead of the brass nut ... the sustain doesn't seem to be compromised at all.  If you would like me to change to a brass nut, I can do that for an additional $75 to your high bid.  This guitar will include a quality gig bag.  Hardshell cases can be purchased through Dragoncase.Jellybean sent me a message in regard to his cloud - "It's Beautiful my brother! It screams!  It's The Truth! Thank you!"
