PALAMAUNNTO Banjo was produced in the 1920s and 1930s.
This ARISTOCRAT SPECIAL model is an advanced model of elaborate inlay work which is gold plating and elaborate among the series.
Neck is a walnut sandwiched maple at the center, Rhinnatter is a maple binding walnut.
The fingerboard is a rosewood head, the position mark has elaborate inlays.
The metal part is gold plating, the plating of the peg remains remarkably beautifully. The body side has lost gloss, but it is not peeled off.
Tailpiece, armrest is also the original and good conditioned instrument.
The string height is adjusted to be lower, and it is easy to play to the high position.
It is a clear tone clearly distinguished by graininess, has a natural reverb feeling, it is a sound instrument that firmly sounds. Although it is a musical instrument used in Dixieland Jazz, I think that it can be useful in various genres depending on ingenuity.
It is a valuable antique banjo rarely available.
I can imagine that a special hard case also has an inner cover, which was originally released as a pretty high-end model.
