Yamaha "hand built"  in Japan LS500 Acoustic Guitar. Serial # OP633J.  Built in 1998. Sold new in 1999. The good: Extremely rare, discontinued model. Rosewood body. Spruce top. OOO in size. With original case. 1 11/16th not width. Stock Clear pick guard. This guitar is light built. Extremely resonant, rich tone. (Google the reviews of this guitar) The bad (kind of) There are some small cosmetic dings/indents on the top in the lower front bout below the 15th and 16th fret area although you cant see them except at angle under light. They have not pierced the surface and in now way effect the tone or structure of the guitar. There is a ding on the side of the headstock behind the d string tuner. (see photo) . There are some minor sweat stains on the side of the guitar that would not show up on my camera that can be easily buffed out. Lastly, I am not a guitar expert but for the sake of honesty and the benefit of the doubt, the frets seem a bit low to me as if they have been leveled and dressed before.  Given the age of the guitar, that's quite possible. There is no buzzing that I can find anywhere on the neck and the guitar plays really well but as far as fret height goes it may possibly could use a fret job? I could be totally wrong on this but wanted to mention it. The strong point of this guitar is for fingerpicking and picking chords ect.  I recently acquired this guitar on a trade. Under normal circumstances I would keep it for a personal guitar but the 1 11/16 nut width is to thin for me and I need the money more than the guitar. Just that simple. Will not ship outside of the lower 48 states.  Shipping and insurance is 55.00. UPS ground.  Any questions, please ask. No returns.
