What makes this bass special: 100% original & in really great shape for its age. Finished in classic Sunburst, this gorgeous Jazz Bass has an ultra cool, vintage vibe to it along with superb tone & feel. A tight neck/body connection ensures an excellent transference of energy & the double Jazz Bass pickups deliver warm, rich tones. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it's ready for action straight out of the case!Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape for a 40 + year old bass with some typical play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking, buckle rash & some finish wear. Overall the bass has a wonderful look to it with a gorgeous patina.Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Maple fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Bullet truss rod & single string tree. Tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length.Body: Contoured, solid ash body in three-tone sunburst finish. Top-loading bridge with four "barrel" saddles & original bridge cover. 3-ply b/w/b pickguard with thumb-rest. The pickguard shows some scratches, but is in great shape overall with no cracks. Bass weighs 11.55 lbs.Pickups: Original Jazz Bass single coils. Dual volume & master tone controls. Pots date to '76 & all electronics are in good working condition.Case: Original hardshell case included.
