Hofner CommitteeThis is a fabulous Hofner Committee made in 1962 in Germany. It is a spectacular guitarin every way - in a beautiful condition and a great playing guitar as well. plus it is all originaland comes in its original Selmer hardcase.The body, soundholes, neck and headstock are fully bound; there are two ''diamond'' logo pickupswith black surrounds each with volume and tone controls plus the three way sliding switch on the toplefthand side. The bridge which is adjustable has a wooden base and the lyre tailpiece has the Hofner namestamped on it.The neck is straight and there are twenty-two frets with full width fantastic inlays and the wide headstock isalso beautifully inlaid and with the Hofner name, inlaid truss rod cover and original three on a side tuners.The unmarked back and sides are in birdseye maple, and the lower bout measures seventeen and a halfinches in width and with a depth of three and a quarter inches.The Committee comes in its Selmer case which is a little worn but no more than that and is slightly biggerthan the guitar as they commonly were. It is fully working and really is a great playing guitar not just a great looker in perfect condition. Very rare indeed to find such a guitar!Please call with further questions on 07544 887582.
