Please read before you buy.Up for sale is a gorgeous vintage, made in Germany Sonor Horst Link Signature series floor tom drum with the genuine Bubinga veneer inside and outside. Rare "Lite" (or "light") 7 mm medium birch shells with 45 degrees bearing edges. (Most of signature drums were made of a 12mm heavy beech shell).The drum is in very good used condition. Edges are good. Fully functional. It has some scratches as pictured. Chrome is in good condition with normal wear for its age. - 15" diameter by 17" deep floor tom with legs. The legs have the telescoping spikes.Please ask any questions before bidding, I'm trying to describe the item to my best ability. I reserve the right to end the auction early due to that these are listed for sale locally and could potentially sell at any time.In summary, you have here a truly amazing sounding musical instrument. These shells are very dynamic and articulate and express every nuance the drummer can produce. They have a wide range. They sound very similar to the world famous Sonorlite (Sonor Lite), that are 6mm birch shells toms and 7mm Bass drums and snares. The extra inch on these signature lites bring more focus and a rounder tone, and the bubinga brings a bit darker and warmer tones comparing to the regular Lites. They tune much easier than regular Lites as well. This is a used vintage instrument that it is more than 30 years old. These drums have been played and enjoyed, but they still have plenty of life. Build with German engineering that Sonor stands for, especially during the Horst Link era, and these Signature series were at the very top of the line.
