Vintage 1959 Gretsch Model 6128 Duo-Jet.A fantastic playing and sounding example purchased from the original owner! Playability is excellent all the way up and down. The neck is slim and has a quick and tight feel in every position.Original Filtertron pickups sound incredible. They are super fat and punchy. The lows are deep and round and the trebles have that classic Gretsch Sparkle. Excellent condition with signs of normal honest cosmetic wear. The binding is in good shape for one of these, there is some deterioration at the cutaway and some near the tail piece as well. The binding along the neck is in excellent condition with light signs of wear. There is some finish wear on the top, it looks like there was a strap left on the guitar and there was a reaction with the finish. The finish is original and has other signs of normal cosmetic wear. Overall it's just got some incredible vibe. Comes with a non original vintage hard shell case.Guitar is exactly as pictured.
