here's an all-solid wood dreadnaught US made guitar. it is ladder-braced but i personally could not tell that when playing it. this is the only dreadnaught version of a Favilla i've seen. top is spruce, the one-piece back, sides and neck are mahogany. the fingerboard and bridge and the peghead overlay are brazilian rosewood. the fingerboard is flat like a classical and the nut is slightly under 1 and 3/4ths. the neck is straight and the action is 4 32/nds at the 12th fret bass side and there's saddle to spare as well. the intonation is good and the original tuners work great. the frets show no wear. there are several repaired cracks but they've all been glued and are stable. this is a great vintage guitar for cheap money. i don't think it needs anything but a new set of strings. the original case is very whipped but fine for shipping. so, altho cosmetically this guitar is a bit challenged, it functions great. however, due to cosmetic issues and the repairs, i am selling it AS IS. ask questions and look at the pics carefully before bidding.
