Tama PA455HN. The tama 5.5X14 3mm thick hand hammered aluminum snare drum.
This is one of my favorite snares in existence. It's powerful. Has a nice dryness to it, and a great, dark tone. The best way I can describe it is a mix between a 402, and a bell brass. It sounds GREAT under a mic (sm57 over 451 is my favorite combo) and the for cast hoops ads a great attack to this awesome snare drum.
This is the 2003 model, with the dual throw off and cast hoops. There are no notable flaws on this drum. It is near mint and you'd be hard pressed to find a cleaner version if this long out of production drum!
Do yourself a favor and jump on this beauty while you can!
