These are in very good cosmetic condition. I have not used them, so there isn't much I can tell you about them. That project was shelved. The voice coils show correct DCR. These are some of JBL's most modern drivers, neodymium magnets, throatless format, reworked phase plug. Very light yet powerful. Mounted on JBL 2333 horns. There was a question about which diaphragms are in the drivers and also about the condition of the damping pads inside the back covers. The diaphragms are the dark-colored aquaplas 'dusted' SL's instead of the ribbed titanium. This coating is added to improve damping of vibrations internal to the diaphragm material. This is important when using titanium diaphragms especially because of titanium's low mass break point. The result is a less harsh sound and smoother frequency response.The damping pads in the back caps appear to be in good condition.Photos have been added.
