I believe this banjo dates from the 1890-1910 era. Celluloid flowers adorn the fret board. Open back. Stains to the head. There are stress cracks to the metal rim, both at the top of the hub, and at the back. Marked with an "A" at the base on the inside and a 1248 on the neck. The bridge will need to be worked with, and there are gouges to the neck. Told is this a 4 string tenor. Thanks for looking at this rare banjo!
