This is a 1968 Fender Bandmaster Silver Face with the AB763 Black face circuit. All components appear to be original with the exception of one of the transformers which is dated 2009. Fender included the black face circuit in their amplifiers until mid 1968. As you can see in the provided photos, there are many things which indicate the date and circuitry of this amp. Photo #3 Shows the circuitry as AB763 which is known to be the black face circuit. Photo #4 shows the serial # as A3314 This indicates that the amp was built in 1968. Photo #5 shows a chassis stamp indicating March of 1968. Photo #6 shows a transformer stamped 606748 which indicates the transformer was made in November 1967. Photo #7 shows a transformer stamped 606-8-03 which indicates January of 1968.Photo # 8 shows the circuit board with the Blue "Molded" caps which were used in the black face circuitry. This is a great sounding amp with LOTS of HEADROOM, and it is very loud. 45 Watts, two channels- Normal channel, and Vibrato Channel. Each with volume, treble, bass, and Bright switch. Tremolo channel has the speed and intensity controls. There is an impute on the back for a tremolo foot switch (Foot Switch Not Included) It has 1/4 in. jacks in the back for both 4ohm and 8ohm speaker cabs. It is in excellent cosmetic condition for an amp its age. Has no tears or scratches. The amp has recently been checked over by an electronics technician who replaced the tubes and set the bias. This Amp sound's Awesome with a reverb pedal!
