This is one of several archtop guitars that Mr. Augustine LoPrinzi had started construction on circa 2004, but remained uncompleted when he shifted directions towards other endeavors. Much of the hardest work has been completed, but there is still plenty to be done. The body has been routed for binding, but the routing will need to be cleaned up a little before gluing the binding on. The neck/body joint will need to be finished. Augie intended to cut a dovetail joint in the body and fashion the tongue as a separate piece to be attached to the heel of the neck. The fingerboard, when placed in position, does not allow space for binding, so it would need to be narrowed if one wished for it to be bound. Binding is supplied only for the front and back of the body. Also, when the 14th fret is placed above the neck/body joint, there is a fairly large gap between the headstock veneer and the fingerboard. I don't know what he intended as the treatment for the nut area. No tuners, fret wire or finishing materials are included, nor anything else that is not shown in the photos.
