Outstanding condition for it's age, all original issue 1991 Ibanez UV7PWH Universe in hard to find white. The white paint has aged and antiqued to perfection after 26 years and the back cavity protectors still have the original coverings. Pro Edge Floyd Rose Tremolo with low action. No neck joint cracks, zero fret wear (has not been refretted), and only a couple of minor imperfections as illustrated in the photos keep this one from being absolutely perfect. Light pick guard scratches are only visible up close. Original case with pink lining, pink Ibanez logo made in Canada, paperwork, tags, etc are included, The combination lock still locks securely. The hardware on the case also has a patina and is fully functional. Please see pictures for further explanation. 100% feedback rating so bid with confidence! The Ibanez Universe is the first mass-produced solid body seven-string electric guitar, developed by Steve Vai and manufactured by Ibanez. The Universe is a seven-string version of the Ibanez JEM series, Vai's signature model. It slightly differs from the JEM due to the absence of a "monkey grip" cut-out handle on the body. The UV7PWH and UV77MC were produced from 1990–1993, the UV777 from 1991–1993 and the UV7BK from 1990-1994. No Universes were produced in 1995 due to low demand. But the UV7BK returned in 1996 largely due to usage from bands in a variety of musical genres: Korn, an alternative metal band, Dream Theater, a progressive metal band, Fear Factory, an industrial metal band, as well as progressive metal bands Meshuggah and Voivod, and also death metal bands Cannibal Corpse and Morbid Angel.
