Here is my very rare and indeed very nice 1978 Aria PE 800 in violin finish, made in the great Matsumoku factory when Japanese guitar building really was becoming world-class.
If you're a fan of post-punk and New Wave music, you'll have seen this type of guitar in the hands of many top players from the late 70s and early 80s! The guitar has good, low action and minimal fretwear. The neck is a joy and the heel-less design means that high fret access is a breeze.
The guitar has many, many scratches and some dings, but fortunately, most of them are quite hard to see, especially from more than a couple of feet away. All the hardware and electrics are original. The micro switch works a phase switch with both pickups on. The only issue with the guitar is that in some circumstances, if you touch the bridge humbucker with the Low E string (not that you'd need to!) the pickup will cut out momentarily.
