From his early beginnings in the legendary band Toto to the present, Steve Lukather is one of the best known session musicians around for his prolific chops. This here is a pre-owned Luke Ball Family Reserve guitar with a figured Koa top underneath the dark Island Burst finish, it's an instrument that was crafted with the versatile musician in mind. We dig how the double-cutaway design offers plenty of easy access to the upper frets, and the EMG HSS active pickups make for a killer tone that can crank out anything from high-volume lead notes, to mellow rhythm chords. The Luke III also comes equipped with the well-known Music Man active pre-amp for even greater control over coloring your sound.
