Amalio Burguet was born in 1951 in Catarroja, a small town near the sunny city of Valencia. From a very young age he showed a great ability to make guitars. After working in various workshops, he opened his first guitar workshop in 1984. In Valencia the tradition of producing the best guitars in the world had always existed, but at the same time Amalio admired some guitars that were made by single guitar makers. Using the best of both worlds Amalio designed guitars for both students and professional musicians. Contrary to most guitar makers Amalio never worked alone.
