The model arrived at this Spec Piece is a familiar 62 strato even in the former American Vintage series.
The year 1962 is a year when stitching of fingerboards is changed from "slab paste" started in 1959 to "round paste".
It is also the year that both of them exist because they change from the middle of the year.
In this specification piece it will be released in "Slab paste" which corresponds to the previous term of 62 years. The same as the Stratocaster of the Sunburst made by 1962 made by former Red Hot Chili Peppers' "John Frusciante" is the same "Slab Laminated" specification. (Olimpic White used by Mr. 61 years made) Compared with the round paste neck, the center of gravity of the whole sound image is low, and a dark character with a more sticky sound is characteristic. For production, the body uses a high-quality 2PC alder material selected in the custom shop for the body.
Selected quarterson maple with little madness where the eyes were tightly clogged in the neck material.
9.5 inches and fingerboard Ladias which was flattened from vintage fender style.
The frets and the thickness of the vintage style are not changed very much, but the frets "6105" type frets with the height are mounted.
It is a popular specification with high performance, leaving Fender Sound. Neck grip thing "Mid 60s C" shape and C shape which responded somewhat responded from a thin neck shape adopted from the latter half of 50 years to the early 60 years was reproduced. It is a popular grip with high playability combined with the combination on the finger board. Fat 60's Strat of hand-wound pickup that sounds clear, sounds splitting well, leaving the thickness of the sound mounted.
You can enjoy the Strat sound with items of the small head period. We are introducing the latest spec that faithfully reproduces the specifications of the vintage of the time. At that time, we reproduced the specification which brought the new article with time machine, and we finish with non damage, non-ageed.
