1964 Fender Telecaster. This beautiful guitar is in pristine condition, and all original other than a body refinish in translucent Blonde Nitro Lacquer by Fiesta Finishes™, a replaced guard, and a really nice pro refret. The neck finish, including the decal, is 100% original. The neck is in beautiful condition, finish, fingerboard, frets and decal.The guitar had a minor enlargement of the neck pickup route, possibly for a Strat pickup, and the neck pickup cavity has been professionally restored to original Telecaster specs.Electronics are original, including pickups. pots and tone cap. Hardware is original including Kluson Double Line tuners, bridge and saddles, control plate, original Ash Tray bridge cover, and jack cup.The serial number is L65XXX. The neck date is DEC 64. Pots are coded 304 6450. The guitar weighs 7.1 lbs. Both neck and bridge pickups measure 7.2K Ohms. The medium "C" shaped neck measures .791" at 1st fret and .986" at 12th fret.This Tele looks, sounds, and plays fantastic.The guitar ships in its original 1964 black Tolex "no logo" case, which is excellent condition for its age.Satisfaction guaranteed.
