Not a reissue, it's the real thing, although looking at the pictures you would think it was a reissue. It's all original save the tuner buttons and strings. This guitar may be picked up in Dallas, TX and it would be my preferred way of getting it to you. I purchased this guitar from the original owner years ago. He was a lifelong bachelor and this guitar was only played by him, although not much. I, unfortunately have dystonia in my right hand and have played this guitar less than an hour in all the years I have had it. There is a little wear where his thumb was held when playing cowboy chords. The fret wire is in excellent condition and the entire guitar is spectacular. This may well be the best 1958 Gibson ES-175 in existence! Please check out the pictures. There is very small lacquer checking and as you can see no scratches or repairs. The pickups are both PAF's and wiring, knobs, pickguard, ect all original. I will remove the pickups and take pictures of the Patent Applied For stickers on the back of the pickups if you request and you are a serious buyer. The pickguard does have warpage. The original case is a cardboard alligator type that is in very nice condition. This is a true collector guitar.Check out my other items as I am starting to sell off a 50 year collection.
