Vintage 1948 Rickenbacker Ace Lap Steel Guitar A more affordable version of Rickenbacker’s Bakelite Body w/ Wrap-around Horseshoe Pickup. Original Case. All Original, except for new tuner buttons. All in Excellent Condition String through Body, Wrap-around Horseshoe Pickup. This guitar can really scream. If you want to know what this guitar can sound like, try listening to Jackson Browne’s, Running on Empty album. This is similar to the set-up that David Lindley used on that album. Not the same guitar, mind you, but a pre-war sister model that also has a bakelite body and similar electronics. These pickups are very hot; and understandably, in great demand.
