Excellent Price! Offered is a beautiful handmade "A" clarinet made by Meyer in Czecheslovakia. Serial number 6468. Made c. 1950. The wood is tight grained grenadilla wood and the keys and rings are nickel. Excellent condition mechanically showing that it was rarely played. We just overhauled this beautiful professional quality "A" clarinet using cork pads on the upper joint and Buffet style double skinned pads on the other keys. This superb instrument plays effortlessly with a strong deep tone and fluid feel. Light tension steel needle springs give a snappy response.Plays at A=440.This lovely clarinet includes a long case, pro quality mouthpiece, cork grease, silk swab and some reeds (not shown).Great price for a quality wood "A" clarinet!Ships anywhere.
