This is a really desirable Conn 10m tenor saxophone #294XXX with laquer finish in very good condition, manufactured in 1940 in Elkhart, Indiana USA. Pads are a complete set of matched plastic dome resonator-type around midlife, maybe a little older, and this sax is set up to excellent playing adjustment. However, some players will always want a sax personally to their taste by their own technician, so buyers will need to figure that expense into the price BEFORE bidding. Rolled toneholes. Minimal of wear and scratches for it's age. A few small dents. This sax plays very smoothly, freely and easily with a strong vintage edge and presence.
