Selmer 1430 bass clarinet - pads very good and I tested it 2 octaves. I have cleaned the bass. Key Work pretty good. The case is old it works - but has wear. I will set up floor peg and add a new mouthpiece. Pads are good. I just put a new bell tenon cork on it, it a good oil and clean and checked for leaks. Play tested 2 octaves and plays fine so it is in good play order.
See pictures the school etched an ID. It is on the bottom on the back. I bought from the school- you really can't see from the front. I have another I refurbished in the store just like this at 950. No etching on that one - This is a good playing bass - I usually sell these refurbished at 950.00. This is a good deal - only issue is cosmetics. I have shown all - I think it's a darn good player at a darn good price! This is a unit I will refurbish and be renting out if it doesn't sell - offering a bargain on this.
