This listing is for a VINTAGE RARE Benge 7X .470 LP (Large Plus) bore with a 4 5/8" LIGHT bell Bb Professional Jazz trumpet #987654. I'm sure the serial number will tell you when it was made and what the guy's name was that polished the bottom caps, but none of that matters to me! Only HOW it plays and this one PLAYS! This horn is in silver plate that is in same condition of 8+ out of 10. I don't see anything that could be deemed red rot, but assume there is a speck somewhere because I know some people will put this horn under a microscope and then shelve it. Looks cool and plays great. It has some very light scratches, and a maybe a slight ding here or there with nothing to negatively impact the play ability. It has 1 O finger ring, 1 saddle, and 1 pinky hook. 2nd valve slide has double nibs on it. Overall look is special. It is NOT new. This baby really SCREAMS! Easy an 8+ out of 10 or something (NOT NEW). Some extremely light scratches here or there if you look real hard. The bell is a LIGHT, LIGHT, LIGHT Brass and 4 5/8". This is a used BEAST! If you want a new one, buy another one than this...hahaha. Everything works perfectly, as it should. Tuning slide is D shaped. Blows REALLY BIG which a normal for a .470 bore. Better to kill those sax players.... This horn does not come with a case. This listing comes with ANY in stock Legends Brass mouthpiece 1/2 off! ....I would suggest a matching Heavy Weight piece. These horns have GREAT focus and SIZZLE with the bore at .470, the sound is AWESOME. It has had a cleaning and we have done our valve alignment which isn't perfect but it is FREE! Slotting is great. Upper register sings! The .470 bore really plays, but it doesn't FEEL too large from a play ability standpoint. I'm only selling because I am cleaning house. Don't think twice about this horn, like I did for years. It will blow you away. Way better than a Schilke or Yamaha of equivalent cost.
