These drums are for drummers who want to get back to their roots, with articulate highs and warm lows. The bass drum has been cut with a fully-rounded bearing edge to help focus the fundamental pitch and reduce unwanted overtones, while the toms are cut with 45-degree edges to let their heads ring as much as they can. Wood/Fiberglass drums come with the Opti-Mount tom suspension system, eliminating the need to drill mounting equipment into the shell. This increases the drum's resonance greatly - which is why the bass drum is also devoid of any tom mounts.These drums also come equipped with 2.3mm Triple-Flanged Superhoops that make tuning easy.
