The pinstripe baffle, mustard caps, silver & gold stickered speakers, amongst other things, date this amplifier to 1967.This amplifier is possibly one of the most famous sounding amplifiers - well known for launching British blues-rock music in the 1960s - placing it in the top ten most valuable amplifiers in the world. There are a few scrapes and bumps to the tolex, as pictured, most notably the left hand side (painted matt black to hide the wood) and the underneath (wood showing in places). Three small holes to the bottom backplate where external speaker inputs have been fitted (now removed). Part of the chassis back plexi panel has come off, possibly when the previous owner fitted a kettle lead in place of the original bulgin plug. We have been as honest as possible, exaggerating the things to report. The amplifier looks the part and is in no way a mess.
