It says Rainbow Music on the neck and is serial number V000014. It's finish looks like nitro 52 Tele butterscotch blonde and it is very custom spec. Clapton neck carve, 6105 frets, custom flat pole vintage bridge pickup, black fiberboard pickguard, Art Esparza signature in pocket. It has a light weight ash body and is still in excellent condition. There are a few chips but mostly looks unplayed. It has a tweed case that is only found on early custom shop guitars. It looks totally original except for the shielding added to the pickup cavity. It does not have a Fender certificate of authenticity.Custom ordered by Harvey Moltz at Rainbow Guitars in Tucson, AZ to a very custom spec. I contacted Harvey and he said, "At the time I was experimenting with Fender making some guitars that were not done before. At the time there were no Custom Shop Strats with early Tele finishes and I wanted the black pick-guard to give it that early 50’s Tele vibe. I really liked the Clapton shaped neck but wanted 6105 frets." A friend asked John Page about the serial number and he said, "The lower numbers were reserved for special order Custom Shop guitars."It is absolutely a great feeling and playing custom spec Stratocaster with one of the lowest serial numbers that you will find.
