Teisco Del Ray EV-2TThis is a rare Teisco Del Ray model EV-2T in a superb condition made in Japan. The shape is based on the Vox Phantom with a five-sided body in the original blue with only a couple of tiny marksshowing, otherwise perfect.The scratchplate is three-ply with a woodgrain finish similar to the old formica - and with two white toppedpickups with chrome surrounds, each with an on/off switch and there are volume and tone controls plus a rhythm/solo switch. The bridge is the roller type and the tremolo tailpiece is complete and works well.The bound neck is maple and is unmarked, and is bolted on - the neckplate is stamped ''MODEL EV-2T'''.The fingerboard has twenty-one frets with both dot markers and side markers; and the blue fronted headstockhas the ''Del-Ray'' logo badge, string retainer and six on a side tuners.It is completely original, and a nice guitar to play - all working and in a remarkable condition after fifty years!
