For sale is a vintage 3 piece Gretsch Round Badge kit from the 60's. Traditional 6 ply USA Jasper shells with all the traditional Gretsch trimmings. This is a "One Nighter Plus" type configuration consisting of a 14"x 20" bass drum, 8"x 12" tom tom and 5.5"x 14" snare. The kit was professionally rewrapped and looks incredible with a tight seam and badges regrommeted. The bass drum hoop inlays are likely original and are yellowed. The White Marine Pearl is bright white and in excellent shape. The chome hardware (lugs, hoops) are in excellent shape for a kit of this age, clean with very minimal wear. Bearing edges are clean and look original.The tom holder for the 12" tom is fastened directly to the 12" tom and clips onto the bass drum hoop. The snare is really nice with the original microsensitive strainer and butt end. The arm for the microsensitive is missing and a correct thread screw was put in place so the snare wires could be put on and off. Reproduction arms are readily available through ebay. Drum key clip is present, but drum key is missing. Again, these are readily available.Beautiful vintage Gretsch that is perfect for small gigs and recording.Contact us with any questions you may have!
