Here for sale is a Ruokangas 20th Anniversary Unicorn Custom in special Ruska finish. This is a one-off custom piece specially conceived by Boutique Guitar Loft and Ruokangas Guitars to mark its 20th anniversary.For 2015, in line with Ruokangas Guitars 20th anniversary, and 5 years of partnership with Boutique Guitar Loft, we have conceived a very special run of guitars as part of the "4 Vuodenaikaa" series. Each guitar in this run will be themed according to the 4 seasons, and feature certain specifications characteristic to Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn.This Unicorn is #4 of 4 guitars in Boutique Guitar Loft's and Ruokangas Guitars' 2015 "4 Vuodenaikaa" series.
The Ruska (autumn colours in Finnish) Unicorn is the culmination of Ruokangas' work in this run and is the final show-stopping piece of the "4 Vuodenaikaa" series. It reminds us of the beautiful colours of autumn.The stunning Ruska finish mixes an array of red, yellow, orange and brown, interlaced into a lively autumn scenery. The exceptional figuring of the arctic birch top adds to the realism of autumn, as though walking through a forest of autumn leaves.The "falling leaves" custom inlay made of gold mother-of-pearl features 9 handcrafted leaves that captures different positions of a leaf's descent. You will notice the intricate details of each leaf, up to the texture, the veins, the stem and jagged edges. Such realism adds to the autumn landscape of the guitar. Specs:
