This guitar has a one piece mahogany back and sides with a two piece spruce top, that along with a truss rod and the shape of the bridge suggest that the year is correct. I'm no expert so I don't know if the finish is original or not but I can see that it has had a couple of crack repairs at some point. I put a new set of kluson classic tuners on but do have the originals, but the buttons have been changed and that's why I got new ones but did no drilling on the headstock. It comes with a hardshell case but is not the original. That's about all I can tell you about the guitar other than it looks good, plays good, and sounds amazing and is priced to sell compared to the others that I've seen on ebay.
