1992 Limited Edition Gibson 40th Anniversary Les Paul Standard electric guitar in MINT CONDITION!Gibson issued a limited run of 300 of these to commemorate 40 years of the Les Paul model. This one is all original and is in absolutely MINT condition, with absolutely no playwear, no dings or scratches, anywhere. I purchased this guitar new in 1992 for my private collection, and I have kept in its case for 99% of its time, only being played for a few minutes once every couple of years. This guitar looks, plays and sounds great. Ebony finish with cream pickguard and binding with gold hardware. The rounded 50's profile mahogany neck, with bound ebony fretboard and low action, has a great feel. The fretboard has trapezoid inlays with a 40th Anniversary inlay on the 12th fret. The back of the headstock has a Limited Edition Anniversary emblem.The P-100 pickups (which are double coil stacked humbuckers) have a great vintage tone and output. P-100 pickups are sometimes referred to as “Vintage Vertical” pickups because they are capable of producing a very warm, vintage humbucking sound. The guitar is equipped with a tune-o-matic bridge, stop bar tailpiece and vintage style Gibson Deluxe tuners. It includes the original Gibson hard shell case and will be shipped in its original Gibson shipping box. Specific photo shots can be provided on request.I will strive to ship immediately, but only after receipt and approval of funds. Local pickup okay. Inquiries welcomed.
