Beautiful Fully Serviced Buffet Crampon E13 A Clarinet - Serial No' K104***This is the older model with the fixed thumb rest, made from quality naturally aged Grenidilla wood - Unlike modern Buffet clarinets, this clarinet has not been manufactured using pressurised chemical treatment to artificially harden the wood. The quality and intonation of this E13 is infinitely better than a modern R13, which is, in my opinion, no more than a glorified B12.The E13 model is by far, the most popular upper intermediate level clarinet ever produced with many progressing players retaining their E13's long into their professional careers. With it's origins in the classic Buffet Crampon BC20, this clarinet ticks all the boxes and this one looks and plays exceptionally well. This clarinet has been well maintained and cared for. This clarinet has NO cracks, repairs or imperfections and is in truly exceptional condition - Even the logos are clear!New E13 A Clarinets are retailing around £1495.00, so it makes perfect sense to buy a second hand used instrument of this age because the wood has proved to be stable. Equally, the intonation of these older clarinets is infinitely better, making them extremely sought after. If you play an older E13 and a new R13, the E13 sounds better with a much deeper depth of tone. The trick is finding the right older instrument! This clarinet is exceptional and ticks all the boxes. In addition, it makes perfect financial sense to buy a used instrument, because you will never see the full return of your investment from a new instrument, a bit like buying a new car.Second hand clarinets will always see a good return.Equally new French clarinets have also risen in price. Just check out the prices of professional level wooden clarinets and see for yourself.I have stripped the clarinet down (something I always do before selling) and carried out a full inspection and service. The clarinet is in optimum playing condition. The clarinet plays effortlessly with beautiful intonation that actually comes very easily and with considerably less effort than many R13's or RC's I have played over the years.Having serviced the clarinet, I have taken it to a colleague to inspect and test play independently (something I always undertake prior to selling any clarinet) because I believe a second opinion never hurts. My colleague was impressed both with the playability of the instrument and the adjustments I have made to my own personal spec. This clarinet is ready to sing!! Not worth taking a chance on clarinets with dubious history or clarinets which have not been test played or checked over, particularly if the clarinet is for an inspiring or professional player who needs to get it right the first time! There are lots of Clarinets for sale on Ebay, but I doubt many of these have been as carefully checked over and prepared for sale as this one has - Nightmares include: Missing Cork, Bent keys, Missing or Worn pads, Keys NOT Regulated, Keys giving Double Action, Splits, Cracks, Missing parts, Joint wobble etc etc etc.Whether you are an advancing student or professional level, you need to have complete confidence in your instrument, and this clarinet will give you this.If you are looking to invest this kind of money in a professional level clarinet why would you buy a clarinet that has not been work shop prepared and test played by professionals - Its like buying a car without an MOT!Remember Buy Cheap, Pay Double!I have been playing and repairing clarinets for 35 years and I can tell you that like anything mechanical, a clarinet requires regular service, inspection and adjustment. I have fully serviced and adjusted this clarinet to a very high standard and I have total trust and confidence in it. This clarinet is performance and exam ready. All corks, pads, springs etc have been adjusted and replaced where necessary. I would never sell a clarinet that has not been thoroughly checked, and double checked. Also included in the price are any adjustments should the clarinet require it (Buyer pays postage) - I am also available to speak with you (or meet if you if you are fairly local) and advise and help any issues - I have kept in contact with many previous buyers, some of whom have become personal friends. None more so than an exceptionally talented professional player who travels from overseas for adjustments to her clarinet before any public performance in the UK. As a woodwind repairer, we are like your clarinet's GP. We know the instrument and we ensure its continued good health. She has purchased two clarinets from me to date and her career has gone from strength to strength.I have sold clarinets to countless professional and amateur players, and my feedback reflects the genuine quality of service I provide - So you have total piece of mind.*****As stated above I WILL FULLY REFUND THE BUYER IF THIS CLARINET IS NOT AS I HAVE DESCRIBED - BUYER PAYS POSTAGE*****So you have nothing to lose, but, potentially, a great deal to gain.Complete with a Buffet Crampon Leather Case which is in MINT condition. Thanks for looking
