Gemeinhardt Piccolo with optional Wood or Solid Silver HeadThis piccolo is a beautiful instrument made by the great makers of flutes and piccolo's, Gemeinhardt. The piccolo has an optional wood or solid silver head. The piccolo is marked "<CW> Gemeinhardt, ELKHART. IND". Also being marked with the serial number 2410. "A" =440 with wood or silver heads nearly closed. The silver head is marked solid silver. This is a very well made instrument. The keys all move well and I can only see very minor blemishes. On the wooden head there is some blemish to the metal top as can be seen in the last picture. I am unsure if the pads need changing being only a novice. The piccolo sounds really nice when I tried some notes. The case is in a great condition with the cleaning rod. Viewing of this instrument and any of the other items I have for sale is always welcome. I am located in Littlehampton, West Sussex area.
