Up for sale is a 2014 Fender Limited Edition FSR (Fender Special Run) Telecaster made in the USA in a striking Sonic Blue Finish. Weighs just 7.2 pounds! Never played out—only at home in the studio. Fender Deluxe Hardshell case included. Cosmetically, on the front, there are no visible blemishes, dings, dents. On the back, near the bottom, there are three belt marks/dings, which, despite my constant babying of this guitar, seemed inevitable. I've done my best to capture them in the pictures, but they are relatively small and do not affect the playing quality in any way shape or form. This limited edition Tele features Fender’s innovative channel-bound fingerboard. This Rosewood fingerboard is inlaid into the neck in a design with an elegant appearance and a distinctive fretting-hand feel in which both edges are comfortably rounded, with no side seam between neck and fingerboard. The compound-radius fingerboard on this guitar is a sophisticated and carefully crafted feature in which the fingerboard has a more pronounced curvature across its width near the nut, ideal for chords, and gradually flattens to a very slight curvature toward the upper frets, perfect for bending notes and solos. This model also features deluxe staggered cast/sealed tuners and a 6-saddle American Standard Strings-Thru-Body Tele bridge with bent steel saddles and stamped brass plate. A classic option for any player.
