Fender Custom Shop MBS 1972 Stratocaster Closet Classic by Dale Wilson is an impressive black fingerboard. Alder is used for the body, round rose wood / maple is used for the neck. As it is the 1972 specification, it adopts F key peg and bullet truss rod nut on the large head, and there are two feather style string guides. In addition, the joint is a three point stop, the serial number is on the joint plate side. In addition, the place where only the head top is darker than the whole neck is a feature often seen in this age. Neck shape is a slightly thin U shape like Fender 70's type. Finger board R is 9.5 inches flat than Vintage Type, frets are the same size as Jim Dunlop 6000 (jumbo type). The original single coil which Dale Wilson himself hand-wound was carried in the pickup. Because it is Closet Classic, Relic / Aged processing is done on the painted surface and metal parts from the time of brand new. It is in a beautiful state that few reductions are seen in frets. The state of the neck is also good, and we have confirmed the margin of the truss rod. The state of the electrical system is also good. Body: Alder
