Wave Headjoint.Up for offers is this Gebrudder Monnig wood piccolo, serial #18660, made in Germany.  The piccolo is made of Grenadilla wood, with silver keys.  The head joint is of the "wave" design (see the photo) and is also made of grenadilla with silver rings and a double socket tenon design for an airtight fit.  This instrument is in excellent condition.  All corks, pads, and springs are in good shape, there are no cracks in the body or head joint.  A very free blowing piccolo, it responds quickly, thanks, in part, to the wave head joint design, which helps to focus the air stream.   An excellent choice for the advancing student or for a woodwind doubler.  Comes in a double case (flute/piccolo) as shown in the photo.  It plays fine as is, but you may want to have your tech go over it to set it up to your specs.Serious offers only, please.
