Very nice 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb Amp. ( Speaker not included, see details below )This is a very early Fender Deluxe Reverb with a date code of April, 1965.Absence of FENDER logo on the grill is correct for early 1965 production.All transformers are original and date from late 1964 to early 1965.
Faceplate is original FEIC.

Upper rear panel is reproduction, lower rear panel is original.Original baffle board in fine condition. Reverb tank is newer Accutronics 4AB3C1B.Well maintained, idles down nicely as it should.
Reverb and tremolo are superb. No foot switch is included in this auction.No speaker is included in this auction. IMPORTANT:This auction does not include a speaker. I feel that anyone purchasing this amp will have specific speaker preferences and will prefer to load their own. Please bid accordingly. COSMETICS:This amp is NOT dead mint perfect... it IS in very, very nice condition throughout:Grill cloth is aged nicely with no major snags or tears. There is some typical fading / discoloration / staining / patina; has a very nice look. Cabinet and tolex are very, very good throughout with assorted small dings, rubs and frays but nothing major at all. Faceplate is very nice with one substantial flaw to mention, a scratch around the lower edge of the INTENSITY knob, see pics. Rear plate has some light stains typical to some early Fender amps. Hardware is lightly tarnished but still looks good. Bottom panel is nice, no caster holes.

Filter caps replaced
Various electrolytics and resistors replaced as needed, please inspect pics.
Currently biased at about 21mA on JJ6V6S power tubes. TUBES:

When you receive the amp, you'll need to access the bottom of the tank and remove the packing around the springs, I'll include instructions. The power cord will be coiled, bagged and packed securely in the back of the cabinet. Ask all questions before bidding, I'll respond as quickly as possible. USA shipping only.
