The Loar LM-600 VS Mandolin The Loar LM-600 Mandolin is a professional grade instrument that will meet the requirements of the most discerning musicians. Hand-carved and graduated from solid select tonewoods and featuring a lightweight nitrocellulose finish for incredible protection, The Loar's LM-600 Professional F-Style mandolin is an accurate replica of an original 1920's F5-style mandolin. The hand-buffed ebony finish with nitrocellouse lacquer provides a sheen and an authentic pre-war style bark that will impress even the most avid vintage purist. The LM-600 features a solid hand-carved spruce top, solid hand-carved figured maple back and sides, a one-piece maple neck with rounded "V" profile, bound ebony fretboard and an abalone and mother of pearl custom flower pot headstock inlay. Playing this mandolin is a true joy, the sound is nothing short of amazing, and the craftsmanship that was used in the making of this instrument makes it a truly amazing value. Included is a brand new The Loar case. What was refurbished on this mandolin?
There is a minor finish blemish under the strings next to the neck. I have included a picture pointing to it, but it cannot be seen unless the light is shining at an angle. No one will ever see it when you are playing. **The pictures are of the actual mandolin you will receive**Here is how much cash you will save!
