Fender Squier Protone Body / Warmoth Flamed Maple Boatneck Neck - Telecaster Thinline Boutique CustomThis one was ultra-hot-rodded with top notch USA electronic components and hand wound pickups in my shop.Stunning BOUND transparent red finish, 3 ply off white pick guard.
Equipped with Handwound Prima Pickups and Texas Custom Cast SwitchThis guitar weighs 7 pounds, 7.8 oz. The neck is a 10-16" Warmoth Compound Radius Neck.Comes with a TKL ABS case for safe transport.Features: New Genuine Kluson No Line Tuners.
Custom Pickups: Prima "The Leo" Tele Handwound pickups replaced the stock weaker ones. These are highly reviewed and Alnico V that were handwound in USA for me. More info here
Joe Barden American Standard Tele Bridge with Three Brass Saddle replaced the inferior import bridge - Awesome. Beautiful Figured Ash Body highly prized for consistency and tonal qualities. Donor was a HIGH quality Squire Protone Thinline (Not your ordinary Fender Squier.) 1 11/16th Graphtec Nut.
Neck: Maple, Satin Amber Finish Highly figured flame maple. Controls: Volume, Tone with New Old Stock Paper in Oil (PIO) .047 Capacitor and CTS Brass shaft 250K pots, Three way genuine CTS USA made switch with NOS Dakaware Top Hat Switch Tip. Rewired with Gavitt push back pretinned cloth wire. USA Switchcraft Jack.
Fender Neckplate and genuine Fender Aged White Thinline Pickguard. Strings: 10-46. Truss Rod: Dual Action, Headstock Access. Scale: 25-1/2". Case: TKL ABS Generic Hard Case. I bought this from a great dealer in upper NY State for the Protone Thinline body (hard to find) and the stunning Warmoth boatneck flamed maple neck. I removed the components that were substandard and gave it a top notch set up and USA components and hand-wound pickups. A few dings, nothing very visible. Plays GREAT like a true tele lover would want! I've had this in my collection and built it to keep. But downsizing is forcing me to sell some of my favorite pieces. You won’t find a better Tele style guitar, or a better playing one.
